Audible is a subscription-based audiobook service that’s part of the Amazon network. During my time at M&C Saatchi Mobile, I wrote copy for over 300 mobile ads for Audible UK, US, DE and AUS. Once I came on board as their first mobile copywriter, the UK team moved from being solely design focused to an integrated creative team.
The ads we produced ran across several major mobile ad networks as well as social channels like Facebook and Twitter. Many of these ads were timed to coincide with the release of popular films and TV shows like Game of Thrones, The Fault in Our Stars and The Hunger Games.
I’m particularly proud of the results we achieved on the Audible Australia account. After a radio ad that I wrote ran on Pandora Radio, engagement rates shot up to 10x higher than the standard. We enjoyed similar results on a mobile network and Adwords campaign for self-help books.
